A bartender trains the group on the basic essentials of making cocktails (using the shaker, crusher etc.). He then proceeds to demonstrate a couple of basic cocktails and some principles of cocktail making.

Subsequently we break the group into teams and each team has to decide on making 2 cocktails. The teams have to document the process (in case we invent a brand new amazing cocktail!!).

The bartender now doubles up as a judge and samples the various cocktails assigning points to the teams.
